Here is the DDS.txt, and Attach.txt is attached: The fact that there seems to be a logic to this leads me to believe it is a virus or rootkit of some sort rather than a hardware problem.ĪNy help getting my computer back would be greatly appreciated. when I open the control panel and then open mouse properties and go to the hardware tab, it shows no driver and no mouse. When I go to last good boot and navigate via keyboard to the device manager, there is no entry for the mouse. I cannot get into safe mode because it won't let me do a combination of last good boot and safe mode, so I cannot type anything in the login window. If I go to last good config in the boot menu, I can boot and have use of the keyboard but not the mouse. I also tested another mouse on this system and it failed to work in the same way. I tested the mouse on another system, and it worked fine. bios shows the mouse and keyboard enabled.

THe keyboard works in the boot menu and in bios.

When I boot the computer, I do not have access to the keyboard or mouse.
